I voted for a sign of a civilized society not in so much as I feel Europe is ahead of us but in that it’s not a big deal over there. I think prudism within the United States puts too much emphasis on the human body as being something to feel offended at or be ashamed of and that is a sign of a long past era.

Besides, an “ugly” topless woman is just as awful to look at as a massively obese man currently allowed to wear nothing more than a speedo. Solution? I don’t look that way. And on the attractive side, women ogle washboard stomachs on dudes just as much as we look at their chests, so its not a question of one side cheapening the other. And if they choose to go topless and get offended for being looked at … hey, go somewhere else or put the top back on.

An interesting set of Google sense ads came to me with this topic (see under).

Why does Google assume that because I am interested in female breasts then I must also be interested in lubricants?
