I use Moesha as a standard, although I can think of numerous examples, such as 7th Heaven that are equally terrible. It is not the television's fault that the viewer is stupid. The producer is mildly culpable for feeding the insatiable drive for mind candy, but can't really be blamed for trying to make money. There is no help for it.

Regarding government control, there is excellent control in the form of the Electoral College. The electoral college will prevent the viewers of the above named and other shows from joining together to vote in mass. So here's for a stricter application of the system. Three cheers for the Founding Fathers!!!

Was the intent of this poll on TV content regarding the programming variety, show quality or "crudeness" factor?

- variety - It's hard to imagine what isn't available on TV these days.

- quality - now there's one you could debate on

- crudeness - it's there, if you don't like it, don't watch it
