I had to list this because of the Game at the battle school. Ever since I read it the first time, I have thought it sounded like the coolest thing ever. Besides the book is awesome. I was also surprised J.R.R. Tolkien didn't get a shout out.
Crap! I did forget to give a shout out to Tolkien!! And why is Star Trek lumped with Babylon 5? Gaah!
... what the hell is your "other"?!?! Or specific obscure British stuff. Or if it's Babylon 5 or Star Trek. And who the hell actually voted for Strawberry Shortcake?
I'm just surprised how many people have voted already, with not a day having passed yet...
/waves hand "You WILL vote for Star Wars."
You do a great injustice to Star Trek (the first two, I don't mean Voyager, DS9, or Enterprise, which all suck just like Babylon 5) by pairing it with Babylon 5.
Where is the "I have better things to do" choice?? ;)
Would you say "Voltron" and "Thundercats" fall under Anime? Let's form Voltron!
what about buffy the vampire slayer? that show was funny, smart and definitely kept you intriguied despite having a kinda ridiculous premise. now that I think about it firefly is really good show as well. josh whedon has got the sci-fi genre down. he should be ranked up there with lucas or roddenberry.
Maybe you should think about adhering to the Church of Reality which has Star Trek as its Holy Show. (Yes the church is real. The star trek thing is humour)

This was a tough one for me. I was always pretty hard core on Star Wars, Babylon 5, Star Trek:TNG (but not really the original), Robotech, and Doctor Who. I finally had to pick the Doctor. I used to sit up and watch it late at night through vicious static to try to decifer what was going on.
