I think personality is over rated when you marry young...my personality has changed significantly over the past few years. So is love, most people who are married have no true concept of love and sacrifice which is the reason for the divorce rate...
My little wife has all 10 of the above traits, no kidding! After 30 plus years of marriage, the cooking ability is more and more important:). Openness and honesty is the key to long term relationships. All the traits above help, she was not as luckily, all she got with me, was looks!
Let's try lucky!!!!!!!!! Sorry! -20 spelling, damn public schools!
After 30 plus years of marriage, the cooking ability is more and more important:).
Mine burned toast real badly early in the relationship. I vividly recall saying "what's that burning smell?" Eyes widening, she jumps up, racing to the kitchen - "I was making you toast and forgot!" We since decided it was in everyone's best interest to cook for ourselves. :-)
I think my wife has 9/10, the missing trait being income/money. This comes with an asterisk, though, as she had saved up a good deal of cash to buy furniture when we got married. She just hasn't brought anything to the table (in the way of dollars) since then.
I think I'd rather have an awesome dinner, clean house and well raised children than a second income, though.
What’s “Cleanliness” suppose to be? I take it “Domestic / cooking ability” covers cleaning of the house and such…so is “Cleanliness” some reference to hygiene? Further more, who the guy that chose it? That’s pretty low standards when you say, “I don’t care about Love, Sex, and Intelligence…just give me a woman that’s clean”.
Perhaps it implied STD cleanliness?
If so, I’m going to need to change my vote!

"Sex" by galton :: NR4 :: on 23 January 2008
Given that only one of you has chosen 'Sex', I presume that this is intended to mean sexual intercourse rather than the sex of the spouse.
Or exactly what kind of place is this..?

I assumed it meant "great sex" ... though that wasn't my selection. Though given some of the discussions on the site before - that very well could be a factor. Theoretically though, male/female would probably be taken care of under the "looks" and "wants children" choices.

Great question, but the original submission read, Great Sex! As the author of this poll, I felt like this clarification was important. I do agree that the sex of one's spouse is very important! LOL!
