Farrah Fawcett by VnutZ

I’m no fan of tracking celebrities … but if we’re going to be stuck with news about these dead yahoos, it would be a lot nicer to see pictures of Farrah Fawcett plastered on CNN than Michael Jackson’s ugly mug.

Sure, I’ll admit that when I was young (elementary aged) I was so into MJ.

However, the weirder he got and the more alleged charges of molestation and pedophile the faster it seemed that the media and the rest of the sane world steered clear of him. But now that he’s dead, he’s somehow become a saint. The media has done a 180 on this guy now that he’s gone.

Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not advocating slanderous new but rather a quite to no news approach rather than the biggest thing to happen to this world front page approach. I didn’t even know he was gearing up for another tour till he died. But that wouldn’t make money would it. In fact MJ’s funeral has turned into a money circus where people are making their last coin off MJ’s death bed.

I guess a prophets or an artist is nothing among their own people until they are dead.

RIP MJ by Anonymous

Michael Jackson is a cultural icon. No other celebrity has had such an international and intergenerational appeal. Nope, not even Madonna.

There were no charges filed against him in either case for child-molestation. In fact, the judge in the second case ordered the plaintiff to pay Michael Jackson’s legal fees because the charges they brought forth were so ludicrous and clearly fabricated.

It’s about greedy parents using their kids to make millions off an easy target. MJ might have been eccentric, but he was no child abuser.

People conveniently forget that he was abused as a child himself. Accusing him of doing something he suffered through during his childhood is nothing short of cruelty. I’m not even a big MJ fan, but I felt bad for the guy.

Rest in peace, Michael. This world will miss you.
