Federal wiretaps?

If the government is taping your phone, aren't you automatically an intelligence target?

Now ... from the discussion on Narus, it is quite clear the NSA can basically screen just about every conceivable call in the United States. Now what if the system flags a particular conversation - what sort of restrictions should be present in order to make that transcription available to human operators? And how long should it be persistent for?

I believe wire tapping should be done on a basis of immigrants and foreign nationalists -- these people have, in the past, been the highest concetration of terroristic threats and acts. If you (whomever is reading this) are offended, I don't apologize.

Any time the US goes into a country to stop/qwell oppression, the US Government opens the doors to the border even wider to those being "oppressed". And we the people that have been here since birth, have to shoulder the economy because of tax credits GIVEN to immigrants. People cry, "Cut Taxes" -- well, the US Government cannot do that when there is a largely growing population of immigrants that are being GIVEN tax credits -- who pays then?? WE, the naturalized citizens, have to pay those taxes. I have always been an opponent to mass immigration since the Clinton era, when he sent our troops into Somalia and, pretty much failed miserably at qwelling that Civil War, we have had a HUGE influx of Somalians since. I am not racist, I am just opposed to opening the border to people that need to handle their own problems. That goes for us US Citizens as well -- we need to take care of our OWN first -- before we go into another country and try to be "The World's Police".

Maybe instead of being offended by this statement, try talking to your Congressman or State/Federal Senator about making those immigrants pay taxes, I have.
