Speedy Check Out by lilsis :: NR5

Candy $1, bread $3, meat $7, not having to deal with the slow dumbass at the check out, PRICELESS!

one for the USPS by mikeforbes :: NR6

While I prefer the airport self-check-in overall, I have to vote for the Post Office kiosk because nobody has yet, and I think it's a sweet idea. This saved me all kinds of time over Christmas: with three boxes to ship, and the choice of 20 people in the line to the counter and one person in line at the kiosk, the decision was easy.

It weighs your boxes and prints postage, then you pay with plastic, drop the packages in the huge mail chute and off you go! If any venue was ripe for the introduction of a kiosk, the post office was it.

Airplanes all the way by Xtremegene :: NR5

I have to go with the airport check-in kiosks as that is the only one I\'ve used extensively. Less waiting time while making your flight for TAMS closed weekend is always good.

Grocery store self-check out is nice too, but only if there is a long line at the regular check out lines. I don\'t have leet scanning and packing skills unfortunately.

Self-Check Machine at Library by schinckel :: NR0

Then I don't have to explain to the librarian why I'm borrowing a Celine Dion CD.

(I'm joking. It was Delta Goodrem, but that's only likely to be understood by Australians...)
