An alternative...
The republican ticket would be that much more interesting if instead of Sarah Palin, McCain chose Michael Palin to be his running mate!
Just consider his resume:
- He's a good debater -- "I'd like to buy an argument."
- He's rugged -- "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK!"
- He's got religious appeal -- "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
- He's got military experience -- "Sergeant Major, marching up and down the square!"

Her gender is irrelevant to her ability to do the job - it is important only as a tactic for winning the election.
I think she look hot. And that can't hurt the Republicans given their front runner.
She is deeply conservative, and therefore capable of giving the Republican Party supporters they want if she ever had to assume the role of President. i.e. no change.
