Thanksgiving is nice for the whole family, but I think we should also teach the kids about the part of history where massive amount of American Indians where re-localized to camps.[What I think should have been called mini-genocide and concentrations camps.]

I was always the only kid in the house who would endure the meticulous task of knawing away at the neck… I always did, however and over the years I learned to enjoy the heart, liver and gizzard as well.

From time to time I will actually buy chicken livers, gizzards and especially hearts and gobble up right up. The Lucky Wishbone, a fabulous local deep fried food chain in Tucson, Arizona actually offers an amazing Chicken Livers & Gizzards dinner with fries. It is offered in Pop, Mom and Junior sizes as well.
