Wired Releases AT&T Collaboration Documents

Newspaper current event by VnutZ on 23 May 2006, tagged as communication and lawjustice

The class action lawsuit between the Electronic Frontier Foundation and AT&T remains open as legal wrangling transpires. At present, the government is attempting to stifle the case to preserve national secrets regarding the manner in which the NSA conducts electronic monitoring. Wired magazine has taken the gag order quite literally, which explicitly bars only the EFF from publishing the sealed documents, and decided to publish them. The document contains twenty-nine pages of notes, pictures and technical diagrams from internal memorandums that illustrate how the Narus equipment is installed and embedded into the AT&T infrastructure.
