by OmniNerd has uncovered a heretofore secret plot to invade the sovereign nation of Venezuela- and it is being perpetrated by none other than rock legend Bono of U2!
Bono's insidious plan was uncovered after previewing an upcoming videogame by publisher Pandemic, called Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, which promotes the invasion and destruction of Venezuela in order to check 'a power hungry tyrant' who has 'seized control of Venezuela and her oil supply.'
Elevation Partners, a private equity firm in which Bono is one of the partners, has controlling stake in Pandemic Studios, thus revealing the mastermind behind the plot. The Venezuelan government has already publicly decried the videogame/plot, and has led to strong condemnations of Bono by people who have apparently never played a videogame before.
There is no word yet if Bono has called off the invasion, now that the jig, as they say, is up.

Bono is going to take Venezuela down. You can't trust a guy like that. Why's he always wearing sun glasses? He's got stuff to hide...secret, country attacking stuff.
I can't believe peace-loving, save the world Bono is involved with this game. I guess the 'corporations' have him too. You've gotta make stuff that feeds the war machine-or in this case the virtual war machine.
