Everyone knows the Swiss. They're those neutral European folks with a taste for chocolate and an eye for watches. But the Swiss have finally let their true colors bleed through. The militant and dangerous mountain people, endlessly bent on havoc, have invaded the diminutive principality of Liechtenstein, a poor country without an army, completely unable to defend itself from the ravenous cantons. Though the canny Swiss propaganda machine has tried to label the attack an "accident" most now know better and an upcoming UN resolution will seek to place economic sanctions on all Swiss chocolate exports. U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney says "all options are on the table" in dealing with the belligerent yodelers. An unconfirmed source reports that a wing of American bombers stands ready to bomb Lindt "back to the stone age," if necessary.

Facetious as this article is, it's interesting to note where imaginations tend to wander these days when thinking about American foreign policy and its recent direction. Sometimes taking things to an extreme, or "Reductio ad absurdum", makes a thought provoking statement about current more serious situations.
