Eternal Life Through Sex

Newspaper current event by VnutZ on 02 November 2006, tagged as medical

A ten year analysis of 1000 middle-aged men was conducted by the Queens University in Belfast to study the long term physiological effects of sex. Their conclusion? Men reporting a higher frequency of orgasms had a death rate equal to half that of their less fortunate counterparts. A word to the wise, urologist Dr. Eid warns that men can damage themselves permanently from too much sex. On the other hand, Dr. Claire Bailey cites little to no risk that women can overdose on sex to the point of damage, but may suffer from vaginal atrophy from a significant lack thereof. The findings coincide with other studies of sexual benefits including:

  • Improved sense of smell
  • Reduced risk of heart disease
  • Weight loss, overall fitness
  • Reduced depression
  • Pain-relief
  • Less-frequent colds and flu
  • Better bladder control
  • Better teeth
  • A happier prostate
  • ... continuation of the species ...

Better Teeth? by Eye.Of.Sage :: NR6 :: on 02 November 2006

Even after reading the news article, I still don't understand how it benefits the teeth?

Even after reading the news article, I still don't understand how it benefits the teeth?

Directly from the article: Seminal plasma contains zinc, calcium and other minerals shown to retard tooth decay. Since this is a family Web site, we will omit discussion of the mineral delivery system. Suffice it to say that it could be a far richer, more complex and more satisfying experience than squeezing a tube of Crest--even Tartar Control Crest. Researchers have noted, parenthetically, that sexual etiquette usually demands the brushing of one's teeth before and/or after intimacy, which, by itself, would help promote better oral hygiene.

Just doing our parts to help America smile brightly.

In order to attract a member of the opposite sex, one must make themselves presentable. Would this not include a hygiene regiment incorporating proper dental care?

One of my “things to do before I’m 50” is damage myself permanently from too much sex. Interesting coincidence. My favorite quote from the article, “Yes," says Dr. Eid, "It is possible for a young man who is very forceful and who likes rough sex, to damage his erectile tissue." The drugs increase rigidity; moreover, they make it possible for a man to have second and third orgasms without having to wait out intermission.”

I think a necessary follow-up study would be why certain guys are having more sex then others. Don’t suppose any O-Nerd girls out there would be willing to comment…

Okay......that's a little too much information.........

Is it just me or has Omninerd's standard gone down? I mean just this month, there are 4 different article on Sex. Also, I noticed an increase in the use of profanity recently.

Oh please LordDilly, Nerds don't curse like that. The use medical terms to describe your 'inadequacies' and 'biological parents'. It's true, people curse a lot more than they did a year ago on Omninerd.

Come on, you can’t deny the obvious O-nerd sexual overtones (about time someone made that observation). Plus, I think your confused, O-nerd slander would be more like:

“She said you performed about as well as WindowsME”

or

“Your about as useful as a 10mbps NIC on a 1000mbps LAN”

or

“01100100 01101111 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01110011 01101111 00100000 00111000 00110000 00110011 00111000 00110110”

OmniNerd's standards for comment scoring are the same. It is only recently, however, that we have had users (one in particular) prone to severe profanity. Note, however, that posts containing such never receive high scores (score:4-6). True nerds are able to express themselves much more professionally.
