Newspaper current event by Liz_Miracle on 11 October 2006, tagged as research

Dr. Seshadri Ramkumar, an assistant professor at The Institute of Environmental and Human Health at Texas Tech University, recently discovered a honeycomb polyurethane nanofabric by using a high-voltage manipulation technique called electrospinning. The polyurethane nanofabric can be used in a hazardous material suit, or used to trap toxic chemicals

Ramkumar’s findings are featured in the Sept. 5 edition of the Journal of Applied Polymer Science. The project was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
