'Brokeback Mountain' Jokes Are Everywhere

Newspaper current event by Rhodizzle on 08 February 2006, tagged as humor

''Brokeback Mountain,' a film about the lives of two homosexual cowboys, has spawned much controversy since its initial release on the 3rd of September 2005. Much of the talk has ranged from the motives of the creators of the film to its inappropriateness. The expected slew of jokes and jibes has now hit the internet including parodies of past films such as 'Brokeback to the Future' and 'Top Gun: Brokeback Squadron.'

Some, however, do not see such things as humorous or a response to perceived gay agenda activism. Paul Rudnick, a homosexual comedy writer is quoted as attributing the jokes to men who 'are both fascinated and very uncomfortable with the content of the movie.'

Admit it, you just wrote this article so you could post the links to those parodies! I thought they were funny, but I'm always inappropriate.

I know I've use the reference at least 3 times when putting my S3, S1 and XO in their places....it was funny.

I still prefer the references to Ace and Gary however.

Why to they call it Brokeback Mountain?

One cowboy got his back broken cause the other was riding him to hard.

Looks like the author of the Brokeback story doesn\'t think all this stuff is very funny. She just blasted teh Oscars for not choosing Brokeback for best picture. She even called Crash Trash.
