Hobbyists with an affinity for both monkeys and numbers can rejoice in new research showing brains seem predisposed for numerals and counting functionality. Researchers discovered monkeys are able to quickly grasp the notions of quantity and with minor training are capable of performing basic arithmetic operations. By combining the collective power of a distributed primate network, it may be possible to both write the complete works of Shakespeare and run lottery analysis simulations at once. There is little concern of complaint from monkey lobbyists as their primary spokesman, Washoe, a chimpanzee with a knack for sign-language, recently perished.
