I think it's encouraging to encounter increasing numbers of articles such as this. The tone is neutral and informative, and most of the facts are straight. In fact, I only saw two slight mistakes:

  • There was mention of "the church's no-caffeine rule," when such doesn't exist. Latter-day Saints typically abstain from coffee, tobacco, tea (black & green), alcohol and illicit drugs. (See this for more information. Or ">this for official information.)
  • The wording of the baptismal prayer (one of only a few prayers in the LDS Church whose wording is dictated exactly) is listed as including, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." The actual wording is, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (And yes, those differences matter to the Church.) It's possible the quotation is accurate and the prayer was simply said incorrectly, though.
