Nerds! These videos are really worth checking out nerds. He was a greater hero than I thought.

Imagine trying to fly NYC to Paris via great circle with just a compass, a clock, and a chart. He could not even see where he was going except for a view out a side window. And he flew it very low over the ocean with no sleep.
