Java ME passes Android for Mobile OS →androinica.com
Ok, this is nearly 4 months old, but I was still surprised to see it. The chart at the bottom surprised me as well. I knew the iPhone was wildly popular, but I didn't realize it still had such a massive lead on Android (and Java ME, I guess).

And then this link says that at the same time, Symbian is the top dog. (Dec, 2011).
And here, it’s Android in the number 1 spot (in the U.S.). (July 11, 2011).
These charts and numbers often don’t tell you what they are measuring… the World? The U.S.? The Democratic Republic of the Congo? That’s why charts can be so misleading, I guess.
