Maybe a Russian missile, maybe not. Needless to say, I found the article and thought it interesting, thought I'd share it with you nerds.

Would the purpose of jetting propulsion to the side add a rifling effect to a missile give it more stability, accuracy or range? Maybe it allows you to eliminate control fins which just add drag to the missile making it go faster to catch jets that cruise faster?
