No surviving first-hand writings of Celsus have survived. All we have is Origen's Contra Celsus, which is Origen's refutation. It's entirely possible that Origen thoroughly misrepresented Celsus' arguments - we have no way of knowing.

So this guy first trashes people who begin religious arguments, as Celsus is claimed to have done, with claims that it's from personal experience - then immediately claims that his assertions are from his own personal experience. And then draws a ton of parallels by showing us bits of Internet discussion out of context and comparing them to Celsus' assertions taken out of context.

Sheesh. Don't apologists have something better to do?
