Boy refuses blood transfusion on religious grounds. Dies.

A fourteen year old with leukemia refused blood transfusions and died this weekend. His adoptive parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, who believe blood transfusions to be "unclean".

If it weren't for enough blood transfusions to fill up my system 2.5 times back in 1997, I wouldn't have been around this year to partake of the goodness of O-Nerd, watch A&M beat the pants of t.u., or father the most handsome baby ever born.
