Positive Feedback Spiral of Stupidity

He said that his company supports Biblical Marriage.

CFA is an overtly christian company that isn’t open on Sundays. This statement should not have shocked or suprised anyone. It’s sort of a no-brainer.

The interweb and media then extrapolated “Chick-fil-a supports biblical marriage” to “Chick-fil-a hate gays.”

Mad-cap hilarity ensues…

Side Note: In some locations, Chick-fil-a served lemonade to the protesters.

Look, I don’t agree with that position, but I also don’t see what the issue is on this. His statements weren’t that suprising or even inflamatory. We just no longer have the capacity as a nation to debate anything more complicated.

I suppose that’s a testament to how little Americans really have to worry about in the big picture of things globally.
