Yeah but sometimes unions have too much power and enforce conditions which destroy employers.
It is equally true that sometimes workers get screwed.
I guess that both sides get out of control sometimes and balance is difficult to maintain.
Employers are very strong, so unions must also be very strong. Both have to use moderation and common sense in negotiations over wages and conditions.
