I just wanted to say that this home made mount is by far the best idea and is really simple to make all you need is a few hrs. just a heads up on a new model JK WRANGLER like mine is not easy to route the wire behind the glovebox I had to go through the drivers side and I lost a flashlight in between the body trying to go behind the glovebox there is a groomet(typo) and there is space to run the wire don’t get me wrong but I installed an inline fuse and it wouldn’t fit through the second hole on the body and that’s where I lost my flashlight.

Other than that it rocks.
