Well – without ad revenue, OmniNerd would’ve likely mothballed itself years ago.
Wait what? Omninerd got ads? Wow….I’m using Chrome’s plug in called AdThwart and so far it’s blocking many ads, including Omninerd Ads. But it is not as proficient in blocking ads as Firefox Ad Blocking Plus. The reason why I installed it was purely because somehow Omninerd ads were tracking my search items. Or rather whatever phrase or subject I copied and pasted previously gets searched when I visit Omninerd. This is shown by ads suspiciously relating to these subjects. For example, in one instance, I copied the phrase “UV light shade” and when I visited Omninerd, the ads are all about UV shades…..I was quite shocked. Now I just decide to pull a wool over my own eyes and say “If I don’t see it, I don’t have to worry about my privacy”.
Tell me if I’m wrong because sometimes I make mistakes involving these kind of things.
