RE: Moralized science isn't real science

As we have seen many MANY times in the past, Science is NOT a “majority rules” process…

You’re certainly not improving my opinion of your intelligence.

Facts are not a “majority rules” process, but science is. Science is about building hypotheses and testing them against the facts, and for those of us who aren’t directly involved in building those hypotheses, the degree to which the scientists involved agree or disagree on them is entirely relevant.

In this case, you’re saying that you don’t care that the overwhelming majority of experts think the AGW hypothesis is correct, you’re going to go with the minority opinion—but, other than, “the majority has been wrong before”, you’ve got no justification for your position.

Sorry, that’s just stupid.

I also don’t believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy or Obama’s HOPE and CHANGE..

Or gravity, or the germ theory of disease, or the laws of thermodynamics, I guess.

That’s because there is no clear, unambiguous or objective evidence for any of it.

The world’s scientists disagree.

Blind faith is even worse in science than it is in religion…

It is. So take off your blinders and listen to the scientists.
