It’s a piss poor commentary on the world that being a Communist doesn’t get one the same universal disdain that being a Nazi does.

Yeah, because an egalitarian society without class distinctions is a horrible ideal — anybody who aspires to that should be considered no different than someone whose ideals are racist eugenics, anti-semitism, and totalitarianism.
