the reincarnation question

I belive that when you asked the spirit how many times have you been reincarnated the “8” he answered is supposed to mean infinity. If you rotate the letter “8” 90 degrees, its the symbol for infinity. And life has been going on since the begging of time so he has unlimited lives.
