Soooo, it’s stupid to imply that God has a hand in everyday events?

I don’t think you’re thinking this all the way through, which is why you keep getting ripped by all of these Omninerds and you’re making people that believe in God look like idiots.

Then stop praying before sports and thanking God for his helping you avoid an accident, etc.

I cannot tell what context you’re saying “prayer” in, and you haven’t defined what “God” you’re talking about.

Praying to help those people is a human defiance of His will.

So by “hell” I assume you mean a burning Calderon of fire in the ground…that’s definitely not a Christian construct, I’ll assume you aren’t talking about a Christian God.
