Voting in MD

I just voted in Maryland. Quick and easy. I showed up at 6:30AM. Polls opened at 7AM. There were probably 400 people there but I was done by 7:15.

In response to your questions – no ID required. They asked my name, birthday and address and then checked it against their list and gave me a card. I used the card to activate the touchscreen voting machine. There were two pages for the various questions and a final one to verify your choices. Took about 60 seconds.
