Brandon, where did you come up with the names for these paintings? They’re all very interesting. I’m just curious.
Btw, I think the first one should be renamed, "Friggin’ Window to Hell or Something Else that’s on Fire." And the last one would make a nice NIN album cover. :-)
The names have to do with either where I got inspiration for the painting, or who I was doing the painting for.
Painting 1 – I thought I discovered my idea for this painting while I was looking through an Art book at Pottery Barn (PB), but my wife corrected me. Thus, Not PB.
Painting 2 – This painting was done for my Mom. Omma is Mom in Korean.
Painting 3 – This painting was done for my twin brother. Sangdoongi is Korean for twin.
The names might not seem as cool now that I’ve explained them, but I guess I shouldn’t have to rely on the names to give them meaning.
