Perspective.

It all depends on what part of white culture they are celebrating. If they are celebrating the part about slavery and KKK, then it’s racist.

Two points for this:
1) Anyone wishing to celebrate slavery or the KKK has a group, that being the KKK.
2)Minority celebrations are not always PC. One could say Nat Turner St. (which is near the streat on which I live – although that is much more about being on William Styron Sq.) is in poor taste. Surely, it is noteworthy that he led a slave revolution, but he also did some very terrible things, slaughtering women and children – even those that could not yet speak.
