More Political Correctness
Maybe we shouldn’t even discuss the Civil War, I find Sherman’s March to the Sea disguising, but I can not change the passed. Millions of young and old died in this war, and Mr. Mangrum is right, "you can’t change history" but the victor can rewrite it! In a free society true history needs to be preserved so the event does not repeat it self. Information and facts need to flow freely. This is our nations war story that needs to be told in full, along with the Confederate flag and its many bloody battles. God Bless the North and the South, and let those many soles rest in peace.

I agree with smcbride. History needs to be told in full. I also find it interesting that a flag that was once our own and reminds many of slavery is so anathema to some that it cannot be flown. However the British flag which at one time stood for religious persecution in our country is often flown and we forget about our fight for independence from them. I guess the wound of the civil war is still so fresh it’s a little early to poor salt in it.
