More users actually clicked through to OmniNerd than I originally thought. My post above was based on the web interface at aolsearchdatabase.com. That database, however, does not have the complete dataset and has been plagued with problems due to high traffic volume. I’ve redone the search with the complete dataset that I downloaded before AOL took it down.
By the way, if you are browsing through the data yourself I recommend textpad. The data, when uncompressed, includes ten 200+ MB files. Notepad crashes with files that large. The data below includes the anonID, the search term entered, the timestamp, and where OmniNerd was among the AOL search results when the user clicked through.
