RE: True follower of Christ
You won’t get anywhere with that Eye of … twit Dwayne. He told me once that he is a teenager who gets his kicks from winding people up on Omninerd. I believed him because his comments are so child-like.
Your comment that you trust no one interests me in relation to the do unto others.. admonition.
Should a Christian have such distrust that he would not do business with a non-christian.
That sounds medieval to me, and it also means that you would wish that others treat you in the same way and shun your business unless you demonstrate your Christianity to them.
Not exactly faith, hope and charity?
What about the Good Samaritan?

Will you leave me and my comments alone?

Doing business is one thing—-buying goods and services for example is quite alright. What the verse means, however, is that Believers and Non-Believers should never partner—what happens to the reputation of the Believer if the non-Believer does illegal activities unknown to the Believer—more importantly, how does that reflect on the Believer’s Faith?
On the subject of trust—do you trust people from first moment—with every detail of your life? Address? Phone Number? other information of a personal nature? I would think that you; like the vast majority, do not.
Loving your neighbor doesn’t imply trust—-it doesn’t even imply that you actually ‘like’ someone. Love, however, does imply that you will aid them and do for them and put their needs ahead of your own. That is the real definition of Christian Love.
