This is not unusual in ancient writings. You can find many instances of ancient scribes being rather sloppy in adopting stuff from one context to another.

But, that is not what the second picture said. The interpretation given quite explicitly is that the writing was to be later interpreted or “ought not be revealed at this time”, so it cannot be considered indifferent. Now I agree that sloppiness is not unusual (Gilgamesh is a good example), but your response does not hold water.

To be fair, I never intended to get into a protracted debate about the validity of these pictures and the LDS interpretation. And, if you want to interpret them that way, go ahead, but there is something fishy in your interpretation vs. the text present. That said, come up with what you need to hold onto your interpretation, if you must, but I don’t wish to drag this out.
