No, I nerd someone down who is incapable of a coherent argument. There are a number of people among the faithful who are more than capable of coherent thought, and regularly demonstrate it. Case in point: Brandon.

What makes someone nerdy about faith-based religion? Is that only reserved for people who know a lot about religion and believe that doctrine?

I ask because I feel reasonably well versed in my flavor of Christianity and Buddhism, but obviously can’t believe both as they are somewhat contradictory. Does that mean that I cannot be nerdy about Hinduism or Taoism or Islam?

I tend to nerd down comments that are inflammatory without purpose and don’t actually make a point. I don’t like personal attacks and I don’t like pointless comment threads.

Nerdy? I like to think that is how I rate things, whether I disagree or not. But really, the nerd-it system is like a Digg. You want your voice heard, then register and vote. If more people would vote then maybe you (and milhous) wouldn’t see this conspiracy of “unbelievers” trying to bring down all things good.

Lastly, you don’t have to be atheist to argue against some of the comments that have been made lately like atheism is a religion or intelligent design is science.

Now can we please move on to another topic so milhous can complain he is being ganged up on about that.
