It was the passengers though who were the hero’s.
Sadly no. We did not give them the opportunity to be heros. We made them play the role of helpless victims because of all this airport security.
Can you imagine the horror of having to sit there knowing that your plane was in the control of suicidal Islamic fanatics.
In those circumstances who would not be in for a stun gun battle? Nothing to lose.
We should let them be heros.

You could let people fly with knives – the only thing you need to prevent is damage or depressurization of the aircraft. Planes should simply isolate the pilots behind a bulletproof door. Armed passengers will self-regulate, just like Texas.
