If those students were academic achievers, they could have gotten academic scholarships. The fact that they turned to athletic scholarships suggests that they probably aren’t so good academically.

First, that the number of them is insignificant — not enough to support the NCAA. Second, that, like I said, they probably could have gotten academic scholarships.
