I think he has a right to be talking to someone who is outraged by this behavior and who will tell him it is not normal, is completely unacceptable, and is against the traditions of the service.

Yes, I guess this question boils down to whether the military should feel confident in the ability of gay junior officers to give responsible advice to young servicemen and women.
