RE: /Sigh

What is said here about the Hare Krishna’s is pure and utter fabrication. One can go to the temple and follow the programme without changing any aspect of your every day life. I’ve been a member since 1976 and I’ve never experienced that kind of fanaticism. Of course there are devotees maybe a little over enthusiastic but the same can be said for people in all walks of life.
Intelligence gives us an edge over the animals. It allows us to enquire about what is important, who are we? where do we come from? where are we going?, and above all, to know who God actually is as a person. Beyond that it is completely up to the individual. You don’t need to shave your head or put on robes, we just ask you to respect the temple and to try the chanting of Hare Krishna.
