The views of Presidential candidates on abortion don’t matter because it is not a federal matter. There are no federal laws on abortion, nor should there be under our present Constitution.

We have a defacto law made by a court which seems to be working to the satisfaction of all the lawmakers for the last 20 years.

Abortion is simply a convenient wedge issue used as an election tactic by the Republican Party.
