So there is no equivalent to IMDB.com for music? Really?

There is the Compact Disc DataBase which "is a database for software applications to look up audio CD (compact disc) information over the Internet".

I use AllMusic.com (which I think is approximately the same as IMDB.com) to get information when I need it, but I have to look it up one artist at a time. I don’t want to invest the time to checkup on every artist every month. I need a site where I can input artists I want to track and then get an RSS feed as output with all the latest news – album releases and concerts, particularly.
