What about my hand?

Great. So when someone decides to steal my drive, they’re going to have to cut of my hand too. This is the same reason I’ll never be one of those guys you seen in the movies with a briefcase tied to his wrist. Way to go Sandisk.

I sat in a briefing a few years back where this was brought up as a legitimate concern for various branches of the government. Many biometric devices that are used to safeguard data that people would literally kill for are usually much more advanced than just a print scan. For example, one device checked (somehow) for warmth and blood circulation in a hand for a palm print access door control.

As for handcuffing your briefcase to your arm… well, there are always prostheses.

It’s all too easy to chop off people’s fingers or spoon out their eye sockets. That’s why we need the ASS PRINT scanner. It’s really difficult to take somebody’s ass cheek with you for a biometric login.
