While we’re blaming things on gender, lets just go ahead and blame it on race.
/sarcasm
After all, you could overgeneralize and say that the world as we know it today is largely run by white folks. Sure, Kofi Annan is a colored fella, and there are Arab dictators, Asian Prime Ministers and African warlords, but the most powerful people in the world are clearly all white men. So we should just kick all the white guys out of power and see how they like living in poverty for a while, because clearly, its the fact that they are white males that makes them violent.

Its crap and you know it. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind that things would be no different if the gender roles were reversed. If I said that the reason the Middle East is screwed up is because its full of Arabs and Persians I would be e-stoned by all the O-nerds. Fuggedaboudit. I could take the word "man" out of your post and substitute "white guy" and substitute "black guy" for every time you say woman, and it would be the same argument but with a racist bias instead of a sexist one. Whites loathe to share their power with anyone, especially with blacks. Its a flawed argument. I mean, I respect your opinion, and you’re clearly quite proud of the fact that you’re a she, but lets face it – there’s no shortage of hyperaggressive, mean women out there. The only difference between boys and girls is physical – not emotional, not mental, not intellectual. You categorize all men as belligerent warmongers in search of random treasures and bent on world domination, and that is absolutely not the case – there’s only a few of us belligerent warmongers left, and its getting to be damn hard to find enough of us to have a decent war anymore.
I will close with this thought. If you think women in charge will bring peace, you clearly haven’t met my ex-wife or former mother-in-law.
