The article author was absolutely correct when he/she said to be sure that your account is in test mode if you are not really trying to charge a live transaction. I learned this the hard way. :) Luckily, it was with my own credit card and so it didn’t matter too much, but I did have to fix it before it settled and the void cost me a small transaction fee. Know your interface!

If you need a quick Authorize.Net account setup call 801-805-4802 because they are cheap and quick!!! That’s where I got mine from.
