Buh-bye

Good riddance. Add California, Massachusetts and New Jersey onto the list, and maybe, just maybe, this country will have a shred of a chance of surviving the internal moral decay that is bringing it down. Probably need to throw Manhattan, Chicago, Seattle and Miami in with them, if thats at all possible.

Some will chastise me for advocating the crumble of our Republic, but I contend that its too damn late. The politicians are in fact corrupt. The political system borders on broken and is only kept afloat by the momentum of the past century. The concept of service to the nation is dead - these secessionist support the preservation of "any kind of representative system" only for their own self-serving good. The liberty and morality this country was founded on has become twisted and confused over the past forty years, and that momentum will take decades to reverse.

Puh-lease.

The "internal moral decay" is in the damn White House.

You forgot the Republic of Texas (which was once Mexico's, I believe, you might want to give that back to them); and all of the Southern States.

Relax, no one is going to secede from the great Republic. And the great Republic will not crumble like the Roman Empire did (until you vote some sort of Emperor to modify the constitution, which might not happen in your lifetime).

From what I know, America is known for reinventing itself.

The Japanese did not buy America in the 80's.

The illegals will not suffocate America.

And no founding father said America must be WASP, although they did enjoy the benefits of slave labor and the Great Abe himself might have said something along the lines that "negroes do not belong here."

Liberalism does not equate moral depravity, as you might suggest. It might be the cause for not being whipped in the classrooms and not being mandated to take religion in school, but it will not cause the downfall of the society.
