Mean while in America...
The new Democrat-controlled US Congress took up the issue of adding a culture-centric variety show to Voice of America. Some of the proposed topics of discussion include how to save on gas by shopping for the best deal in a 5-mile radius. The proposal will get to a vote even though every Frenchman knows how misguided such efforts really are. Another topic, which is expected to pass with overwhelming bipartisan support, on the Congress' docket is to rename French toast to Liberty Toast in support of the British, whose cuisine apparently sucks.
