What I think is really super about the world today is that you don't even have to be rich and famous to share your opinions anymore. Just get a blog, and your voice can be heard all around there world.
The sunny side of the coin on this, though, is that you can ignore moronic bloggers just as easily as I ignore Susan Sarandon and the Pink Floyd guy. Truly, the great thing about all these 100%-opinion-0%-thought loud mouths (both on the TV and the 'net) is that if you ignore them, they just go away!

They're Idiots, to Be Sure, But...
Roger Waters needs to realize that "peace on earth begin with me" and re-unite with his bandmates from Pink Floyd! The only wall he needs to be caring about is The Wall, his marvelous semi-autobiographical Floyd double-album-cum-movie-starring-Bob-Geldof.
Roger Waters without the rest of Pink Floyd is like Axl without Slash and the rest of Gn'R. (hey, did you know Gn'R has a new album coming out, Axl's been working on it for over ten years but he says it'll be out in the fall...heard that before! Chinese Democracy, where are you?)
Anyway, it's funny about Roger Waters- Floyd can't even reunite and he thinks the inordinately more complex Israeli-Palestinian problem is going to solve itself. When he and David Gilmour play Kumbaya together then he can talk about the West Bank.
That said, if I was rich and famous, I would feel a moral obligation to share my opinions on how to make the world a better place. Granted, a lot of celebs come off as pretty stupid when doing it, but as long as we the consumers have enough sense to consider the source things will be all right. After all, it's not like many of our political office-holders are much more intelligent than your average actor.
